Patricia Iyer is a nationally known nursing expert on medical liability issues. She has spoken and written extensively on patient safety issues. She has taught both nationally and internationally, and has three times been asked to speak at the International Council of Nurses biennial conference. She has over 40 years of experience as a nurse, and over 28 years of experience assisting attorneys in reviewing medical records for liability. Pat served for 5 years on the board of directors for the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, and was president of that association for one year. Pat earned her diploma in nursing from Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing and her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing from University of Pennsylvania.
